The forthcoming fall premiere of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus’ Dream” OVA has been preceded by the release of a key visual. This three-part OVA is being animated by Studio 8biy, and Miho Okasaki will lend her voice to the ending theme song.

“Coleus’ Dream” is an original short story penned by Fuse and was included with the second season’s Blu-ray release. The announcement of the OVA was made earlier this year, along with the revelation that the third season will debut in spring 2024. Fans of the series, which is also known as “Tensura,” are eagerly anticipating its release.
“Tensura” is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The anime adaptation is actually based on the manga, which features illustrations by Taiki Kawakami. The TV anime adaptation by 8bit spans 48 episodes divided into two TV seasons. Additionally, the franchise has a spin-off anime called “The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime,” which is an adaptation of one of the manga spin-off series. Furthermore, the franchise also boasts a movie titled “Scarlet Bond.”
